To me, it’s obvious whose side
I should be on in the Apple v
FBI duel (‘Question of the Fortnight’,
Issue 470). I support the FBI 100 per
cent. Of course, it doesn’t matter one
jot what a cranky 67-year-old from
Shropshire thinks, although I’d be
happy to give Apple a piece of my
mind any day. Does anyone know
Tim Cook’s phone number?
Apple is exaggerating the threat
posed by the FBI. It’s not asking to
access the iPhone belonging to
every person on the planet,
just one phone that belonged
to one person. And that person
just happens to be a murderer
who killed 14 people.
Frankly, I struggle to see what
the problem is. The FBI is simply
asking Apple to unlock a phone.
Apple are behaving irresponsibly,
and appear not to care about the
feelings of the relatives of the dead
